My children and I were asked to attend the much anticipated 23rd annual Bunny Hop this past week. The Bunny Hop is organized by The Associates Committee of The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with all of the proceeds going towards the Pediatrics Department. It’s truly a wonderful and magical event for an amazing cause.
The soiree held at 583 Park Avenue was sponsored by GUCCI with additional support by Warburg Realty. The Bunny Hop is one of the most noteworthy and upscale events for New York families and children, the event featured an enchanted atmosphere for children including a petting zoo, magicians, balloon artists, world famous juggler, photo booths, spin art, a DJ, Bubblemania, and lets not forget the Easter Bunny!

Ryder and Siella were in pure excitement the entire time and didn’t know what to do first. The setting was so magical and actually had talking wall flowers. From bunny shaped grilled cheeses to sand art bracelets to balloons made into practically anything you wanted; my children were completely in their element and could’ve stayed forever. In fact, they are still talking about it!
The Event Chairmen included: Melissa Meister, Marcie Pantzer, Annie Taube and Ferebee Taube. This year the Bunny Hop raised over $300,000 to benefit innovative Patient Care initiatives at Sloan Kettering.
Although this event was beyond magical for the kids, The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center holds a special place in my heart. I lost a childhood friend to cancer when I was in the seventh grade. I remember her visits back and forth to Sloan Kettering and every time I hear Sloan Kettering, she comes to mind. The center has done amazing things for children and continues to do so with your support. Through the work of its volunteer and fundraising committees, The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center has funded and operated a broad array of programs in three integral categories: patient care, cancer research, and education.
