We cannot believe that we are starting to shop for fall! We have so much time to get some new boots, but it doesn’t hurt to at least start looking! Social media already has fall fashion out and there’s a little bit of us that wants to dive into a new fall wardrobe after a hot summer. When we get started with all the shopping, we need to prioritize options for various weather options. In the city, we get a ton of rain in the falls and springs and nobody likes ruining their shoes. Especially pricey boots. Rain boots are an obvious option and while there are tons of super cute options on the market these days, this not our only option anymore. A bunch of brands actually make their shoes with materials that are weatherproof, so you are all set to style them and not worry about a little bit of rain or snow. Beyond this, you can get a spray for certain materials that will make those shoes weatherproof. We know a lot of people do this for UGGs, which also have weatherproof options these days too.
Fashionable
Secondly, this is the most fun category to shop for! Nothing brightens a neutral outfit like a good pair of shoes. We typically opt for booties or heeled boots that can dress any outfit up. Take a nice, simple look from a meeting and go to a happy hour or dinner afterwards with a good pair of booties. Boots are an investment piece so going for a pair that might be more out there doesn’t need to be so scary. Think about the outfits and style you prefer and maybe step out of your comfort zone with a fun pair that is on the trendier side. Trends come and go but true fashionistas know that you can make anything look good with the right styling.
Versatile
Finally, we do like to have one good pair of boots that will last for years to come. For example, for a lot of people that might be Doc Martens or Larroude boots. Typically, these are more of an investment because not only are you getting good quality but you are guaranteeing yourself to have them for years to come. We’re on the go all the time and having a pair of trusty boots that look good with everything for the cooler and changing seasons are at the top of our shopping list for the fall.
