Celebrating The PowerMoms

This is a sponsored post. Thank you for supporting SITC.

The balancing act of motherhood and career-woman is challenging, to say the least. Most days, I prefer to think that I knock it out of the park, but sometimes, I end the day feeling somewhat defeated. Like every working mom, I juggle alot. The constant challenge of raising three kids, running a business, maintaining a household, and attempting to make time to connect and be present with everyone- especially my husband and with my family. I am adamant in my attempt to have a positive impact on the world, by supporting brands I respect and admire, by promoting kindness and empathy and by making smart decisions about our environment. If this list sounds familiar to you then you are probably a working mother too. You’re a #PowerMom.

The Loacker brand, committed to Pure Goodness in all aspects of their company, started the PowerMom movement. PowerMom is a celebration of working mothers making an impact through their communities and careers. You already know Loacker as the company behind the most delicious and addictive Italian wafers ever (which I happen to be slightly addicted to!) Ever since Eataly opened downtown, I make every excuse to swing by there  to stock up on different Loacker wafers.

My favorite Loacker wafers are the Quadratini core Classic and Gran Pasticceria Patisserie. The wafers are so good with a cup of coffee, and I usually keep a few in my bag for an after school treat, or snack on the go. The wafers are such a simple, yet decadent treat. My kids think it’s some extravagant dessert, so with a glass of milk, or over some tea, we often sit and chat; sharing experiences, talking about our day or the world. When they are enjoying a treat, they seem more likely to engage and share.

Sure, Loacker wafers are delicious, but what I really love about Loacker is their commitment to quality—both quality time spent together enjoying the amazing wafers and the quality and care they put into their products. Loacker products are made with real cocoa using no artificial flavors or colors, no hydrogenated fats, no preservatives and no ingredients derived from bioengineered crops.

Loacker truly lives up to their mission of “Goodness, Without Compromise” in each and every product they make, which is why I am so excited to spread the word about the Loacker PowerMom movement and their Facebook Live event on May 11th at 1pm, which celebrates working mothers who are out there killing it. Here is the link. Not to mention, one of my favorite actresses, Maggie Gyllenhaal, will be honored at the event, which I can’t wait to see.

That is my grandson’s favorite snack. He loves Quadratinis and asks for them everytime he starts playing with his Legos. I am happy your daughters like them too!

  3. I haven’t tried this brand before. They do look yummy. And it looks like they offer quite a variety.

  4. Oh, this is one of my favorite snacks! We always have some stocks in the pantry because we can’t get enough of it.

  5. All of these treats look so yummy! I think they would be perfect for a little tea party with my girls.

  6. These look like great snacks! I’m always looking for something delicious and simple to pack along for our travels.
