Books For Your Kids To Read This July

I cannot believe it is already July! We’ve been working on getting some fun new books onto our bookshelf this month and I feel like we’ve found some really great ones. I have a few books from the award winning and NY Times Recognized publishing company Cuento de Luz. Their books come in English and Spanish and discuss topics such as friendship, family and love. The best part is that you can find them conveniently on Amazon! I have found plenty of choices for teens, tweens, elementary age and young kids this month– there is something for everyone to enjoy. You’ll have to let me know which are your favorites!

A great, relevant book right now, this has an important place on our bookshelf! It’s a book to teach kids all about Dr. Fauci.

Everyone is always searching for things to make us happier. Mary has a mysterious storybook that reminds us how great it is to get lost in a good book.

Everyone has different voices and we can all use our voices to make great change in the world! It’s important to teach our children to use their voices to stand up for what they believe in.

This is one of the most precious books I’ve ever seen! It’s all about love, family and teaches children that their parents are always there for them.

This is another great read for young readers! It’s about a boy whose father was a pro football player who is now suffering from memory issues due to his career. The family has to adapt to the changes happening and hold onto the importance of family traditions and memories.

There’s no question that my lifestyle, including the time I spend on screens, may be playing a role in my journey with dry eye, an increasingly common condition that impacts approximately 150 million U.S. adults. A new survey conducted by the eye care experts at @BauschLomb found that dry eye can be challenging to manage and may impact daily activities like working, driving, reading, watching TV, and spending time on electronic devices. In fact, 12% of dry eye sufferers indicated that they think about their eyes 10 times a day or more! The same survey found that a majority of people might not even realize eye symptoms may be associated with eye dryness. People experiencing symptoms of dry eye—tiredness, itching, watering, redness, fluctuating vision, and a scratchy, gritty, tired or heavy feeling—should visit an eye doctor, as dry eye may get worse over time and possibly lead to dry eye disease. An eye doctor can provide appropriate relief options, which may include over-the-counter eye drops, prescription medications and/or nutritional supplements. I’m taking charge of my health and just went to @nyphospital for my first heart health appointment with Dr. Julie Lynn Marcus. With a history of heart disease in my family, I want to ensure I am staying on top of my checkups and health.
