A Day At Fantasy Forest + Video!

This is a sponsored post. Thank you for supporting SITC.

For me, the ultimate childhood memories always involved an amusement park with my siblings. When we were growing up there was a tiny park near our house called Sand Lane. It wasn’t much, just a few rides and games, but I remember going to with friends and families, and having the absolute best time. Naturally, my kids (and all kids!) are drawn to amusement parks. It’s probably there favorite outing, because who doesn’t love a few good rides, games, and of course lots of popcorn and cotton candy. When I recently heard about Fantasy Forest Amusement ParkI knew we had to check it out.

Fantasy Forest in Queens has been there forever, and only 20 minutes from our apartment, I am surprised that we haven’t been there before. Fantasy Forest amusement park is located in the heart of the historic Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, beside the Queens Zoo and Hall of Science. They have an impressive assortment of thrilling rides including the Flushing Meadows Carousel from the 1964-1965 World’s Fair, the Corona Cobra Coaster – Queens’ only roller coaster! classic games, free shows, private birthday parties, special packages for groups, and more!

We arrived, and to save time and money, I purchased Unlimited Ride Wristbands for the kiddies. The Unlimited Ride Wristbands offer the best value for your visit, so I definitely recommend it, rather than dealing with individual tickets.

Ryder and Gemma are all about the thrill rides, while my little Siella is a bit cautious about the coasters. This didn’t stop her from riding the teacups repeatedly. We even convinced her to ride on the Fantasy Frog Hopper which she absolutely loved! Even I jumped on a few rides!. Hearing the giggles and seeing the grins on their faces made my entire day. After the rides, we played games and chomped on some cotton candy.

Fantasy Forest amusement park would be a great destination for the ultimate birthday party too! You can see all that they offer for parties or other group outings. We know first hand about the fun, because we hosted Gemma’s birthday party at one of their sister locations in Battery Park City. It couldn’t have been a more perfect venue for her 5th birthday!
