5 Easy Ideas To Make Mother’s Day Magical

This entire week, I’ve been talking about great gifts to give to mama this Mother’s Day. Yes moms definitely deserve something huge this year. But just this morning, I overheard my daughters this coming up with a plan on how they are going to surprise me this Mother’s Day. They were soo excited and I tried not to overhear their plans but they were too good not to share these sweet ideas with all of you. These darling little gestures will make for one happy mama.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there xoxo.

Give Her A Spa Day

As much as us mamas want to spend our special day with our significant other and kiddies, give mama some alone time. Draw her a bath, leave her sheet facial masks, and maybe some bath bombs and take the kids outside for a little quiet time. I promise she will thank you!

Make Magnolia Bakery’s Famous Banana Bread Pudding

I’m a person who doesn’t like a lot of sweets, I’d rather something salty but this Banana Bread Pudding from Magnolia Bakery is my most favorite dessert ever. Magnolia shared their famous recipe during the beginning of quarantine and I’m so shocked just how easy this is to make!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups water

2/3 cup instant vanilla pudding mix

1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

3 cups heavy cream

1 (12-ounce) box vanilla wafers

4 bananas, sliced

Mix together the water, pudding mix, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until it sets up.

Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Working in thirds, fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until well incorporated.

In a trifle bowl, layer vanilla wafers, sliced bananas, and pudding mixture; continue until you’ve used up all the pudding mixture. Refrigerate for at least another 30 minutes before serving.

Breakfast In Bed

Let mom sleep in and deliver her most favorite breakfast in bed! Impress her with a trendy Dalgona Coffee! Here’s a super easy way to make this extravagant coffee!

You’ll Need:

2 tbsp. granulated sugar

2 tbsp. instant coffee (must be instant!)

2 tbsp. boiling water

Ice, for serving

Milk, for serving (I like to use almond or coconut)

In a bowl, combine sugar, coffee, and water. Whisk until mixture starts to thicken, for about 8-10 minutes until it holds like a whipped cream shape.

Fill a glass halfway with ice and milk, then dollop and swirl the whipped coffee mixture on top!

Make Mom A Crown

Darcy Miller’s newest cut-out illustrations seriously giving my little arts and crafts daughters all the inspo! This Mother’s Day, honor Mom by crowning her queen for the day! You can print out in full color and use their “M-O-M” jewels, or use the black and white version and personalize with her favorite colors or name.

Flowers, Flowers, Flowers

A bouquet of flowers go a long way. I love having fresh cut flowers in my home all the time. They just make me so happy. This particular bouquet is from one of my favs, The Bouqs!

All really good ideas for Mother day. The banana bread pudding looks yummy. Also the spa idea is super original my girlfriend loves to go to the spa I’m going to try that tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestions.

  3. Great ideas to celebrate this mother’s day during the quarantine. It is important to keep some traditions and make it feel normal. Especially for our hard-working mothers!
