Gutted

This past weekend we went to our friends “pumpkin carving” party. It was their fifth annual as it was our first. Basically, you bring a pumpkin, carve it, and when everyone is finished, its judging time. Everyone gets to judge and the rule is you can’t nominate yourself. Let me set the stage for you… we went with there with our pumpkin and the 2.99 carver we bought when we purchased it. Everyone else, were no joke, they had tons of patterns to work with including electrical carvers and really meticulous knives. Our pumpkin didn’t win yet it wasn’t in last place (pretty good considering we freelanced ours) but, next year we are getting serious and taking along some pretty funky patterns as well as tools with us!
