The holidays are my most favorite time of the year. Everywhere you turn, New York City is buzzing with end of year energy, festive lights, and beautiful storefront window displays. You can tell as you walk down the streets, that everyone seems to have that extra pep in their step, fueled by holiday spirit.
With this holiday high comes the stress of shopping for the perfect gifts. This past weekend, I had a chance to stop by JCPenney in the Manhattan Mall, to interact with shoppers, and share my ideas for gift for their friends and family.
JCPenney is truly a one stop shop this holiday season. I was blown away at their selection, that I not only found myself giving advice to shoppers, but also checking off a few items from my own holiday shopping list. My co host, Fashion Blogger, Rachel Martino and I really enjoyed answering shoppers questions, and playing off of each others ideas. Some of our most popular questions were what to get for childrens’ teachers and extended family members.
The first department I hit for my own shopping was Sephora Inside JCPenney. Makeup Gift sets make awesome holiday presents, and I found a few of my favorites from Stila and Benefit.
I plan on giving these beautiful Liz Claiborne bangles to our aunts and cousins.
My children are at the top of my shopping list this season, but we still have tons of friends and cousins to shop for. JCPenney had the hottest toys. I picked up a Moana character set for Gemma, Shimmer and Shine dress up toys for Siella, and a super cool Ripstick skateboard for Ryder. Rachel’s pick for the kids was a Frozen doll set, which I absolutely loved and of course added to my list too!
Rachel and I even gave out fun prizes to the audience through raffles.
And because I couldn’t take home too many things that day, I finished shopping at JCPenney online. Their “gifts under” section makes it super easy to shop within your price range, and find the right gift for that someone special. It was a super fun event, and I absolutely loved sharing my picks with shoppers! Who knows maybe in my next life I will become a personal shopper!

I ADORE JC Penny. It’s always been a huge part of southern life down here in Georgia, and it’s always got everything I’m looking for.
I would love to visit JC Penny in the Manhattan Mall. I’ve heard stories about how great the mall is, and of course we all know that JC Penny is great.

I love JCPenney, I was there earlier this week! I also like to both, shop in store, and shop on-line for the convenience of free shipping when I can get that!
