If I’m being completely honest, I think a lot of the boots in style this winter are on the trendier side than being practical, which is totally fine! I love fun trends just as much as the next girl, but that just means it’s a little more difficult to put them aside to wear with more outfits. At the end of the day, shoes are made to bring us enjoyment, excitement to outfits and complete them. Finally, let’s chat about the styles we’re seeing this season!
Cream Boots
These I’m really excited about! I actually think this style is not necessarily a trend that will go quickly, it’s here to stay for awhile. Boots like these are incredibly versatile, since they are a neutral shade and depending on the shape of them, they can totally be an everyday shoe.
Elevated Snow Boots
I think these types of boots are so much fun! My daughters and I are having an absolute blast styling elevated snow boots. When I say elevated, I mean boots like Moon Boots, teddy or furry platform boots, the list goes on. Really, they’re boots that are totally durable in the snow, but they are statement boots. They make any outfit exciting just from the material, color or shape!
Chunky Heel
I’m a fan of a good chunky heel, if I must say. Living in a big city, I am constantly running around and, of course, I want to look great while doing it! A chunky heel makes it so easy to walk in, but you still get the look of the heel and elongated legs. Depending on whether or not this shoe is neutral, I’d say this is another trend that will stick around and provide a great closet staple for years to come.
