A trip to Paris has been on my bucket list for years now. In fact, Jason and I planned to head there for my birthday last year. Then he wound up getting booked on a job, so we had to cancel. This past holiday season, we planned to head there as a family. But with so many of the protests happening during that time, we decided to postpone our trip to February break. And honestly it was worth the wait. The weather was just perfect, and we fully enjoyed every single minute of our time there.
One of the first things I did when I knew we were officially going to Paris was book Flytographer. They have been my go-to for years now whether we are traveling out of town or just need updated family photos here in New York City. When we are on vacation, I am typically behind the camera. I want to capture these memories in the making, so we can look back at that special time. As much as I love photography and experimenting with different light, I mostly cherish our full family photos. But those seem to be scarce at times. It’s really hard to ask a stranger at times to snap a photo while the kids are running in different directions. And if we can nail them down, I’m usually not thrilled at the way they captured the photo.
Flytographer has local photographers all around the world ready to snap your special moment. Simply choose your location, and browse through their photographer galleries, to find a photographer with a style that suits your needs. There is even an option to check out the most popular local backdrops for cities like New York, Paris, Rome, London or Los Angeles. Once you select a date, a Shoot Concierge will confirm ideal times and availability. This will be followed by a “Shoot Scoop” email with all the details. Since everything is processed online, all you need to do is meet your photographer and be ready to shoot!

For our Paris shoot, I chose the location of Trocadero which is like the Instagram worthy location for that perfect Eiffel Tower shot in the background! We did make our way down to the Seine River for a change of scenery too. I was told this location gets super packed during the day, so we met our photographer Olga at 8am all dressed and ready to go! I told her the types of photos I was looking for. She seemed to capture it all and much more! She was so great with the kids too, and was really able to capture the best candid moments. I cannot tell you how thrilled I am with all of the photos. I want to print and frame each and every one of them! Thank you so much Flytographer for once again capturing yet another magical family venture for us!

This looks like a pretty awesome trip. You photos look amazing. I can’t wait to visit Paris.
It is so cool to have done a photoshoot while on a vacation. I never would have thought of doing that.
I am worst about capturing those special moments. I’d love to hire Flytographer to do this for me. We are planning a family trip soon, so they will be hearing from me.
I’ve never heard of that before! Gosh, that would be so handy to have for some really nice shots during our vacations!
We were just in Paris last month! It was the second time… and can’t wait to go back! I love Europe!
Oh a trip to Paris is on my list too, and I love the photos!!! Seriously so amazing to have these forever. I’m going to remember this for our next big trip.
