Time Well Spent

I recently wrote about how Jason and I rarely have the opportunity to spend alone time together. Since the New Year, we’ve been trying to make a conscious effort to carve out time for dates, be it day or night. Since we spend lots of time on separate coasts, its a great way for us to catch up, and communicate about what’s been going on. February is a super tricky month for the both of us, because it’s one of his busiest times of year, and it is also my birthday month and Valentine’s Day. I can tell you that in the thirteen years we’ve been together, we probably celebrated those days together in the same room only half the time. Not kidding. Of course, we make up for it the following week, but it’s still sort of a drag.

This year, rather than gifting one another chocolates and roses, I decided that we’d get each other something that we both need; watches. Only recently has Jason started wearing a watch, and considering all his shoot days revolve around time and schedule, he has become quite reliant upon one. I, on the other hand, am all about form over function. I cannot get enough arm candy, and like the idea of adding a watch to complete my wardrobe.

His face differs slightly from mine with a champagne background and features gold-tone Arabic numerals at 12.
