I’m super honored that Regal Lager, a huge supporter of the First Candle Organization invited me, for the second year in a row to their annual Gala, which took place this week. First Candle has been saving babies’ lives, educating new moms and dads on safe sleep practices, and bringing hope to grieving families for decades. Their priority and goal is to eliminate stillbirth, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and other Sudden Unexpected Infant Deaths (SUID).
Held at the elegant New York Palace Hotel, it was a heartfelt evening to honor the tiny souls lost so early while also awarding all those involved in supporting this significant organization. The money raised will be used to help prevent these tragic losses, through silent auctions and live auctions. All of the proceeds went straight to First Candle’s mission, to educate families with the latest research for safe pregnancies and healthy babies. It’s always been an organization close to my heart, which I support annually with fundraising, and raising awareness through my blog.
