Let talk staycations! I’ve been doing mini staycations with Siella and Gemma since they were little, I love being able to explore a completely different part of my city. And what better way to fight this long winter we are having than with a fun staycation uptown at the Loews Regency, and let me tell you, it did the trick! A short walk from Central Park and Rockefeller Center, this luxury hotel is much more than the power breakfast and exceptional service. Five Star Oasis
If you’re not familiar with the hotel, let me enlighten you. This is more than a hotel. It’s a five-star oasis in the heart of New York City. This ultra-posh hotel is chock full of beautiful decor, design touches, and total relaxation. You’ll find beautifully appointed rooms, amazing dining options, close proximity to everything, and some of the most friendly, helpful staff you could ask for. The perfectly air-conditioned rooms are a prime feature, especially when the summer rolls around. It’s the best hotel for every room type, as they have tons of options for spacious guestrooms in this modern family-friendly hotel.
Business travelers, you will love the luxury suites close to a coffee shop of your choice and great check-out times. We love to come here as a staycation with great subway access to get uptown. A favorite thing of ours is to order room service at this upscale hospitality experience. The neutrally colored guest rooms are inviting and it’s close to the city’s vibrant arts, so we can pop over to a Broadway show!

Our Room
As soon as we stepped into the lobby, we knew it would be a great weekend. Its chandeliers, marble flooring, and rich color welcomed us immediately with a modern but inviting feel. After checking in with the incredibly friendly person at the desk, we headed to our rooms. The rooms glowed with lamp light, and we were treated to beautiful city views. It was both cozy and modern, which is a combination that I really enjoy. The girls were equally impressed!
Stay & Play Package
To make our stay more fun, we took advantage of the Stay & Play offered by the hotel. With this package, you get a rate that includes $50 in food and beverage credits, a $100 Bloomingdales gift card, a one-level upgrade, and a themed welcome amenity. So when we arrived, we were already ahead of the game, so to speak. If you’re going to stay at Loews, I highly recommend this package. It turned our girls’ getaway into a getaway and shopping trip!
Dining
In addition to the posh amenities, helpful staff, and our great package, we enjoyed a day of relaxation and shopping, enjoying delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel. Their dining options are as amazing as their accommodations. The Regency Bar & Grill offers a classic New York dining experience. It’s a classic New York vibe with delicious dishes made with sustainable ingredients. I love that. We also enjoyed the Sant Ambroeus Coffee Bar, where we were able to snag some of the best coffee and pastries in the city. Oh, and their room service? Amazing. We ordered in the following day – because you can’t have a luxurious girls’ trip without room service – and the options and delivery were absolutely fantastic.
Our trip was just what we needed to relax and recharge, and it would not have been as fantastic as it was without our stay at the Loews Regency.
