Race For The Cure

I’m excited and super honored to announce that this year I’ll be part of the Susan G. Komen Greater New York City Power 30 Ambassadors. Breast Cancer has affected so many of my close family and friends, ESPECIALLY this past year. (I’ll explain more on that in the coming weeks). The Susan G. Komen foundation has always been near and dear to my heart as I’ve participated in many of their races throughout the years here in New York.

This partnership is such an honor as always used this platform to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer, and now I get to create a team and you all can join me! For 30 years, thousands of New Yorkers have met in Central Park one day of the year to honor and celebrate breast cancer Survivors and Thrivers in our community. This year circumstances are different, but the need is not! This year the 30th Annual Komen Greater NYC Race for the Cure will include a 30 hour extravaganza on Sunday, September 13th, followed by a 30 day, personalized Journey to 30 experience!

Stroller In The City is joining the Komen Community to take part in this re-imagined digital event that is sure to become the powerful celebration we all love and depend on. And I need your support… The breast cancer community needs your support. Please give generously, every dollar counts! Let’s race towards one goal: no one should die from breast cancer.

Race Day is one day a year, but for 1 in 8 women and their families, breast cancer is every day. Finding a cure is an ongoing effort. Year by year, story by story, and dollar by dollar, the efforts of fundraisers save lives. Your donations help tens of thousands of New Yorkers. The money we raise helps deliver food to women in treatment, offer transportation to chemo, and provide screenings. It also helps fund more research, reduce disparities, and find the cures.

Join us, and together, we WILL create more survivors!

You are such a deep thinker. I am continually impressed by your ideas and the way you put them out for us to read.
