As you all know, we’ve been working on decorating our home out east! Siella needed some finishing touches to her room and this was a big deal because she’s nearing her teenage years, so she needed some furniture that was fit for a teen’s bedroom. Let’s start with the most important category! When it came to decorating a new room, we knew we had to start with pieces that will last! No really, Siella was so excited to pick out her items. Not only was it amazing to see her create a design for her room and be able to express herself, but the excitement of space exploration in general and bringing new furniture into the house was a blast! She looked at a color palette she wanted to stick with. And that was pretty neutral, which is really practical. You can always bring a pop of color to a kids room with sheet sets, paint colors or wall art. A bold wall statement should never be underestimated.
