Last year, my Instagram feed lit up with images of kids, and grownups, swimming in rainbow sprinkles when the Museum of Ice Cream opened in New York. Since then the MOIC hit the road popping up in LA and other hotspots like Miami. We visited the Miami, so when I heard a version of it known as the Pint Shop was coming to the Meatpacking District here in New York City, I knew we had to visit again!

I am all about expanding my kids’ minds and filling their lives with unique cultural experiences. We visit galleries, museums…you name it. And there is nothing better than visiting a sweet museum dedicated to one of the best things on earth—ice cream!
Sure there are fun sweet-treat inspired installations and cool things for the kids to see but the best part of The Pint Shop is that you can get actual pints of real ice cream and participate in the coolest tasting ever!
We sampled every flavor of ice cream and learned all about the process…and you know I purchased multiple pints…let’s just call them museum souvenirs. Wink wink! Churro Churro & Nana Banana are pretty amazing and the girls are obsessed with the Sprinkle Pool flavor.
If you can snag tickets for the Tasting Room inside The Pint Shop. DO IT! They have created a transportive tasting journey influenced by a passion for ice cream. The Tasting Room is an immersive ”sit-down“, sensory EXPERIENCE that offers an in-depth look into the FLAVORS within MOIC’s debut pints. Reservations are $33, available online only and include a free pint of ice cream!
The Museum of Ice Cream Pint Shop is located at 459 W 14th Street right in the heart of the Meatpacking District. Better Hurry though, because the Pint Shop hits the road this month. BUT the flavors will still be available for a limited time exclusively at Target stores!
