Partying with Target & Soleil Moon Frye

Last week Target co-hosted an intimate blogger gathering with Target Mommy Ambassador Soleil Moon Frye to celebrate the launch of her new book “Let’s Get This Party Started!” Held at the yummy, Sprinkles Cupcakes, the event highlighted the Target-exclusive version and brought to life some of the book’s vibrant and whimsical party planning ideas. During the event we were able to chat with Soleil about the new book and mommy hood. She told us the book was photographed this summer while her family visited Martha’s Vineyard. It was like an on going celebration for her kids all summer! Never in a million years did I think I would be chatting with a favorite TV icon I so admired growing up.

Soleil also gave us a quick and easy demo on how to make s’mores pops sans the camp fire. It was so fun for us that I actually went home that night and made the pops with my kids!

‘Let’s Get This Party Started!’ is available at Target, which includes a special note to guests and is autographed by Soleil. The new book showcases more than twenty inexpensive, inventive and fun DIY activities and party themes you can throw for your kids, including a luau, a spa party, an outdoor movie screening, a rainbow theme, a pirate party, and eighties theme party. While at Target, make sure to stock up on stylish and versatile products for your party planning, including Market Pantry snacks and beverages, and Spritz paper products and party decorations.
