Now that we are at the start of the new year and the holiday season is through, we have thought through the last year. We love trying new products and discovering new brands and are excited to share our favorite items from 2025. Firstly, beauty was the largest category we explored this year. It was the year of self care and that absolutely applies to hair and skin care products. This category also makes for some of the best gift ideas. You’d be surprised how many people have their eye on a certain item that they can’t bring themselves to get. That happens often in the self care category. It’s also the best way to try out new products.
It’s truly the simple pleasures in life. The little things matter and doing that hair mask or having a lip product we reach for daily are cozy comforts in our daily life. For the first time in a long time, we have discovered so much fun in taking that time to put in an ounce of effort for self care.
Fashion
Secondly, you know how much we love fashion and are always up to date on the latest trends. Specifically for accessories, these are the ultimate gift guide addition because there’s a variety of options here. Furthermore, New York Fashion Week is coming up and maybe this list will help provide a bit of inspiration to head out to various shops and change up your wardrobe. It’s more than a tennis necklace, it’s styling white pants outside of summer, a new pair of ballet flats or your new favorite spot to get basics from.
The best part is that fashion is a form of self expression so the sky is the limit with this category. For anyone shopping for a favorite things party, you will want to stick more in the accessory route most likely. Good things come in small packages sometimes and we have spent quite a bit of time looking at accessories all year and styling them.

Finally, there are so many other things we have been obsessed with. Those involve serious eats, a pinch of salt that is of high quality for cooking, dining trends, home accents and wellness products. Wellness was a category we explored quite a bit. Red light therapy was definitely at the top of our list. Not only are there so many external benefits but internally, as well. Moreover, exercise accessories and supplements to help us feel our very best, especially allergy related were major this year.
