Thank you Warner Bros. Pictures for the invite!
I think I tell everyone this, but my screen time as of late consists of mindless TV and movies. My brain is usually in overdrive so a serious film is just something I am not into these days. I appreciate funny mom movies that I can relate to, a flick that makes me laugh, and if I am actually seeing it in the theater, even better!
This Motherβs Day weekend, Melissa McCarthy is the Life of the Party. I managed to escape this crazy week to catch the screening that seriously had me in stitches the entire time!
The movie is not only funny, but also showcases a special Mother Daughter bond and relationship. I don’t want to give too much away because you need to go and see it for yourself! But let’s just say longtime dedicated housewife Deanna (McCarthy) turns regret after a divorce that she was not expecting and decides to head back to college, since she dropped out right before her senior year. The funny part, she lands in the same school as her daughter, whoβs not entirely sold on the idea. But the increasingly outspoken Deannaβnow Dee Rockβembraces freedom, fun and frat boys on her own terms, finding her true self in a senior year no one ever expected.
Grab your tickets to #LifeOfTheParty and see it in theaters this Motherβs Day weekend http://bit.ly/LifeOfThePartytickets

I am with you on the light-hearted and funny films to unwind. There is too much seriousness out there. I will make a point to go see this movie!
I have been wanting to see this movie the past few days. It looks so fun! I’m planning to get a few friends together to go watch it.
My friend and I are planning to go see it! It looks so funny. Such a fun moms night out!
Funny movies are always a good watch! Life of the Party looks like it is not only going to give us laughs but it seems it helps women realize that we can do whatever we set our hearts into.
I hear ya. I’ve never really been a fan of serious movies. I can’t wait to see this one. Melissa McCarthy is a hoot!
Looks like such a fun time. My best friend in TX went to an event there too this weekend on an invite from Warners Bros. Such an awesome experience.
I’m excited to see this one! Melissa McCarthy is one of my faves!!!
This would be such a fun movie to watch. I am going to ask my daughter to watch it with me and see how she would react if I enrolled in the same university as her. That would be hilarious!
I’m currently recovering from surgery so I’m pretty much confined to the couch – I’ll check this movie out! Sounds like it could lift my spirits. π
J canβt wait to see this movie. Heck, I may even join her. We donβt watch anything too serious often either.
Sounds like this would be a fun one to go see with my mom friends. I could use a night full of laughs!
