I just love this time of year, when NYC becomes magical. All of the holiday decor comes out, window displays, colorful lights, Christmas trees, and fun shows. This week I had the chance to see Elf The Musical at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre thanks to the lovely, The Moms. I am sure you all have seen the movie with Will Ferrell so I don’t need need to tell you the story line, but even though I did see it, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Turns out the musical was super cute and totally put me in the holiday spirit. The entire audience laughed at the brilliant cast the whole time. The Empire State Building setting was just amazing, as I love all NYC stage scenes. At first seeing Santa on stage, I thought I should have taken Ryder with me but turns out I think he will be better off seeing this when he is a little older (he’s only 4 now).
If you are looking for a way to boost your holiday cheer, check our Buddy the Elf. It is only running on Broadway for a short time now through January 6th. Tickets range in price from $49 to $160. Visit www.elfmusical.com for more information. And Happy Holidays!
I was not compensated for this post, all opinions are my own. I did receive tickets for the purpose of this review.
