Drive-In

My family and I usually escape the city almost every weekend. For example this weekend we went apple picking and visited some family. We have a car in the city for only about a year now. When we just had Ryder it was easier getting around in and out of the city with just one. But with Siella now in tow, it has made it much easier on us to get away. Plus Jason’s insane travel work schedule lately, I am happy to have a car to get in with the kids and head to my parents, where I can camp out there for a few days if need be.

Even though we aren’t in the car as much as a suburban family, it is extremely important we keep the kids safe in their carseats during our road trips. With Siella just turning one years old in June, it was time to switch her carseat to a big girl seat, as we call it. We decided to go with our trusted and beloved Britax brand. Ryder is currently in the Frontier 85 and we couldn’t be more happier with it. For Siella, she is now in the Britax Pavilion 70-G3 new model that came out this past summer. Siella is thrilled with her new seat and I am totally digging the fun “cowmooflage” print! She has been so comfy in it, she actually fell alseep, which by the way..never happens!

The Britax Pavilion 70-G3 convertible car seat is designed for children rear facing from 5 to 40 pounds and forward facing from 20 to 70 pounds. Siella is 23 pounds so we chose to face her forward, which has helped with car sickness for her. The Pavilion 70-G3 achieves revolutionary head safety through the use of Britax SafeCell Technology in the base and HUGS chest pads with SafeCell Technology, integrated steel bars, and energy absorbing Versa-Tether that work together to minimize head excursion and reduce the risk of head injury during a frontal impact. The Pavilion 70-G3 also incorporates Britax True Side Impact Protection, a Click & Safe Snug Harness Indicator to aid in proper harness snugness. Additional features include a no-rethread and quick-adjust five-point harness, multiple buckle and recline adjustments, and an easy-remove cover that also allows access to belt paths from the front of the seat.

We are just adoring this carseat, and with the Britax brand, I always have a sense of ease that my kids are the safest they can be!

***Stroller in the city was not compensated for this post but was given the Britax Pavilion 70-G3 for the purpose of this review.

  1. After I initially commented I clicked the -Notify me

Is there any way you may remove me from that service?
    Thanks!
