Annie on Broadway

Ryder and I experienced a magical NYC kinda night. We were invited by The Moms to participate in the Children’s Place campaign for this holiday season and to see the new musical Annie on Broadway. Each child, dressed from head to toe in the gorgeous Children’s Place holiday threads, were able to donate Children’s Place brand pajamas and books for the Pajama Program. The Pajama Program is a non-profit organization that provides new pajamas and new books to children in need, many who are waiting and hoping to be adopted. Ryder loved his holiday look and it was a great feeling being able to share and teach him about giving back to those in need.

Afterwards, we entered the gorgeous and lovely Palace Theatre to watch Annie on Broadway. Annie the musical is an all new production of one the most acclaimed musicals in the past 35 years! Ryder was in absolute awe the entire time and it brought me back to my childhood and the many many times I watched the movie Annie. And the songs are still stuck in my head, even Ry has been singing “The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow”. The mostly younger cast Annie played by Lilla Crawford was superb. Even Sandy, the dog. I felt the theatre just laughed the entire time. And the stage just sparkled and was beyong magical with a floor to ceiling crystal Christmas tree! But that’s all I can give away!

I recommend you take you child to see the play and during this holiday season, as Santa makes a special appearance as well. I would definitely suggest an early time slow as 8pm was a bit late for us.

Opening night is November 8th. For more information visit www.anniethemusical.com

Stroller in the city was not compensated for this post but did receive tickets to preview Annie the musical
