Gemma has been going to preschool, three days a week since last January. This year is the last of her being part time, before entering pre-kindergarten. Over the summer during camp, I had a dose of what it would be like to have all three in school full time. The first few days, I plowed through work and household chores, but the remaining days was odd feeling not having them around. This year, while I still can, my goal is to savor every minute I can with her.
I am trying to schedule less meetings on her off days, so we can spend time together. Just today, our day was filled with her swim lessons, a trip to the park, lunch, and then walking to get the bigs from school. The work is certainly piling up, but these two days per week that she is home, I am going to make special.
I was first introduced to the brand Ele Story during holiday time, the girls wore these adorable wool dresses to every Christmas party imagiable. Now I was excited to see their first ever Mommy and Me collection. My girls, especially Gemma, are all about dresses that twirl when they spin, so when I saw the Tutu Cute Dress for girls, and the Gold lurex Skirt for the mamas, I couldn’t resist getting this combo.
The girls mini dress adorns a rose gold and blush floral, along with an embroidered mesh that sparkles. Her skirt boasts two layers of soft and luxurious gold lurex tulle, plus a knit jersey lining that has an extra skirt ruffle, perfect for the fun twirls. I’m totally digging my Gold Twirly Tulle Skirt. It’s not only a must have for this season, but I can see making use of it all year round. It’s casual enough to wear with a tank top, or elegant enough to dress up with sparkly accessories.
I’m super excited to wear our matching frocks for a special event we have next month! Now I have to get one more for Siella!

They grow up so fast don’t they? So glad you’re cherishing the moments with them.
My daughter is too old to agree to wear matching skirts but enjoy her while she does. This is such a great post filled with great photos of both of you.
