A Day Of Shopping

This is a sponsored post. Thank you for supporting SITC.

Last week, I spent an entire day at The Shops at Columbus Circle. For those of you not familiar, The Shops are located inside Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle, where Broadway, 8th Avenue, Central Park South and Central Park West all collide. Even though we live downtown, I actually find myself frequenting The Shops often, and it’s a destination I always recommend to visiting friends and family.

When I was pregnant with all three kids, my doctor’s office was located right on the Corner. I would always hit The Shops after my appointment on a monthly or weekly basis, for a quick coffee at Bouchon Bakery & Café, or to meet friends for a stroll, while our babies were napping. Now, my children are grown and in school, so my stroller trips have changed to meetings and stops at Whole Foods Market, all with-in The Shops, before heading back downtown for school pickups. It really is one stop destination for this busy mom.

This Spring, I am excited to be partnering with The Shops at Columbus Circle, to showcase some of my favorite shops, my Mother’s Day picks, and a few must-haves for your closet! During my excursion, I had a camera crew follow me around, while visiting my favorite stores and checking out what’s hot this season.

My first stop was Satya Jewelry. Specializing in pieces featuring unique gems semi-precious stones and
birthstones, everything offered at Satya comes with meaning, that is inspiring and beautiful. Their pieces include necklaces, bracelets and earrings with symbols and semi-precious gemstones. They certainly carry something for everyone!

Next up, Jo Malone for the perfect fragrance. It was very interesting to learn about the ability to layer different perfumes to create my own scent. It turns out I’m more of a fruit fragrance girl! The lovely sales
associate even gave me a hand massage with their signature body lotions. It was heavenly.

Next I was off to Eileen Fisher for the perfect outfit. Since having children, I am all about comfort, so I gravitated more towards the chic comfy pieces. I am currently obsessed with all of their linen garments that will accent my wardrobe perfectly for our trip to California this week! And speaking of sunny California, sunglasses are a must, so I popped into Solstice Sunglass Boutique for a fun segment. I probably have a dozen pairs of sunglasses, and love trying on all the new styles and trends! Right now, it’s all about
round frames- the bigger the better. But don’t worry if that is not you, Aviators never go out of style!

Let’s talk shoes! L.K. Bennett is so my go-to! I found the perfect pump, in so many color options, that I couldn’t decide which to choose! In addition to their shoe collection, they offer clothing, handbags and accessories, perfect for any occasion.

OK, once we were stocked up on clothes, it was time to get my face on, and one of my favorite shops is Aveda! I’ve been using their products for years, and just discovered their new Stress Fix line. It’s moisturizing and aromatherapy, all in one!

How about Jewelry! At Links of London, I totally fell in love with their signature bracelet, The Iconic Sweetie. If you are looking for a fun heirloom piece that you can continue to add to throughout the years, this bracelet is for you. You start by selecting a type of metal, and then add charms! It will make a great Mother’s Day gift. Hope you’re not reading this mom!

As I mentioned earlier, a trip to The Shops wouldn’t be complete without a trip to Whole Foods Market, so that was my last stop of the day. This Whole Foods location is my absolute favorite, because it’s massive and they have it all – an amazing bakery section, cheese from around the world and great fresh seafood! Even though I am uber busy, the one thing I try not to compromise is cooking dinner for my children. Dishes don’t need to be overly complicated, but I try to cook at least 4-5 times a week. I grabbed something
quick to whip up, and a treat for the kiddies from the bakery.

What a whirl wind of a day at The Shops at Columbus Circle, and I didn’t even hit all of my other favs, like H&M and J.Crew for the kids. I trust everyone needs to freshen up their wardrobe for the warm weather, so I hope you will join me on April 29th from 12-4pm for The Spring Edit Event! This shopping event will include complimentary prosecco, light bites, exclusive offers from select retailers, and a chance to win a $500 shopping spree! Some of my favorite influencers including Rachel Martino, Justin Livingston, Lainy Hedaya and I will all be in attendance. Can’t wait to see you there!

Big thank you to Lauren Elle Photography for all of these photos!

  1. Who doesn’t love a day of shopping?! It looks like you had such a fun time and purchased amazing things.

  2. I am wanting to get some big round frames. If I don’t like them, as you said, my aviators never go out of style. 😉

  3. That shopping center is really great and in the middle of town. I love that jewelry from Links of London and Whole Foods is always a place where you could buy a million things.
