14 Spring Break Pieces for a Sunny Vacay

Spring break is officially here for many people and while it’s approaching still for others, I have found that packing is never easy. Warmer climates are among the most popular spring break destinations not just for college students, but for families, as well! Specifically, spring break outfits can be a mix of casual looks, bold color, lightweight fabric and a bathing suit. Furthermore, the perfect vacation wardrobe does exist and it’s also meant for summer vacation, as a lot of those pieces are easily transitioned into the next season. So if you’ve begun packing for your tropical destination and are stuck after a one piece swimsuit, I’ve got you covered!

Here are 14 things you’ll love for a sunny vacation!

Sunny Necessities

Firstly, when you’re in the sun you need a ton of protection. Just because you’re wearing self tanners, it doesn’t mean that you have SPF protection. Moreover, a good sun hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are a great place to start. You can either pack several mini sunscreens or buy some when you land, depending on where you’re headed. But it’s incredibly important. Beach cover-ups can also help with some protection from the sun. And they’re cute! If you have teens, they might want a bucket hat, which is super cute! I’m an Amazon shopper, but a lot of the things I’ve found are from Revolve and Shopbop, simply because their shipping is incredibly quick. Let’s face it, I sometimes need some last minute items and so I’m a professional at knowing which stores ship the quickest.

Dinner Looks

Secondly, this might be my favorite category! You know I love any excuse to dress up. I am a dress and skirt kind of girl, so I tend to grab a maxi skirt or a maxi dress when I’m headed to dinner. Tank tops with slip skirts are also super cute and very on trend at the moment. Go for whites and neutrals or bright colors, either way, the looks are a good idea. The best way to pep up after laying in the sun’s rays all day is to dress up! When you feel your best, you look your best! Make the most out of your spring break trip, even if that means only going to one nice meal the whole time. It’s one fun thing to do!

Casual Pieces

Finally, not everything has to be a fashion show! I know a lot of the world spends their trips posting online and that gives a very unrealistic reality. You can go on vacation and wear loungewear or whatever you are most comfortable in the whole time. Do what you want to do! Make sure to pack some jean shorts and lounge pieces so you can feel more comfortable and actually allow yourself to relax. After all, the whole purpose of spring break vacations is to let loose and relax. Escape from your daily tasks and take a beat. You fully deserve to relax in whatever form that means.
