Why Beaches Turks & Caicos Is A Must For Families

Beaches Turks & Caicos is one of the most famous and beloved all-inclusive resorts in all of the Caribbean. We’ve been there twice (see posts here and here), and let me just say my kids are still talking about it. Their service is second to none. The grounds and the resort are gorgeous. Their location is spectacular. It’s everything you’d ever want in a resort, and to top it off, the staff and management of Beaches Turks & Caicos actually care if you have a good time on your trip. That’s something you can’t find everywhere!

Location:

Located on the western side of the Turks and Caicos Islands, Beaches Turks & Caicos sits just off the beach, welcoming guests to come in and enjoy the sand and waves as much as they’ll enjoy the posh accommodations. With immaculate grounds that capture the tropical vibe, a layout that makes the entire place easy to navigate as well as beautiful to behold. Beaches Turks & Caicos makes for a getaway that feels both adventurously luxurious as well as homey and familiar.

One Of The Best Beaches:

Beaches Turks & Caicos amazing all-inclusive resort features a 45,000 square-foot waterpark; five magnificent villages, boasting the architecture and ambiance of Italy, France, the Caribbean and Key West; a 12-mile beach lapped by clear turquoise waters; 10 impressive pools, endless fun activities for everyone, from tots to tweens and teens, featuring Sesame Street characters, the Xbox Play Lounge and a sizzling’ teen disco—all located on Grace Bay, voted the World’s #1 Best Beach!

Accommodations Are Perfect For Large Families:

The resort has been meticulously designed to cater to both couples and families, with a variety of activities, dining options, and room accommodations that ensure a comfortable stay for everyone. Guests can choose from a variety of room options to fit their budget and style. The most luxurious option is the Key West Village. These accommodations offer granite countertops, a fully furnished living room with HD Smart TV, a dining room, and a bedroom with hardwood floors, a king bed, HD Smart TV, and walk-in closet. It’s a luxurious home away from home that anyone will love. While the suites are amazingly well-appointed, don’t think for one second that the more affordable options at Beaches Turks & Caicos aren’t incredibly posh as well. We’ve stayed in Key West and Italian Villages, and both were amazing in their own way.

Tons Of Dining Options:

Dining options at Beaches Turks & Caicos range from laid-back snacking at Courtyard Bistro and casual dining at Bobby Dee’s and Bella Napoli to more upscale adult-oriented dining at restaurants like Sky and Le Petit Chateau. With 21 dining options from bistros to fine dining – all included – the resort offers the perfect experience for your mouth and your trip, whether it be for families or couples.

Kids Camps:

Your kids will love their Kids Camp, and you’ll love the time off. Kids receive extra attention with tailor-made fun just for them, offering age-appropriate activities for kids of all ages, from tots to teens. They’re always supervised, and kids vacations are all-included. All nannies and Kids Camp staffers at Beaches Resorts are members of the International Nanny Association, America’s oldest and largest in-home child care association.

Get Diving Certified:

Beaches offers the most comprehensive resort diving program, and best of all, it’s all included. Their introductory resort program is perfect if you’ve never dived before, with all the instruction and equipment you need for dives up to 40 feet. You’ll be able to experience a whole new underwater world the next day. For those already certified, you’ll be able to enjoy up to two dives a day, with the option to choose other unforgettable dives. In fact, they’re responsible for over 100,000 PADI® certifications on resort.

You can Volunteer and Give Back:

Developed by the Sandals Foundation, the non-profit arm of Sandals Resorts International, full-time students can earn community service hours by taking part in various volunteer activities while vacationing exclusively at Beaches Resorts. From participating in the Reading Road Trip to Packing for a Purpose and from beach clean‐ups to helping local students’ sharpen their computer skills, as an Island Impact team member, YOU can help make a positive difference in the local Caribbean communities of Jamaica and Turks & Caicos! See here for when my family and I volunteered in Jamaica.

Activities For Everyone:

Beaches Turks & Caicos also has visitors covered when it comes to activities. Whether you love lounging on the beach or have an active lifestyle, Beaches has something for you. They offer unlimited land activities like volleyball, basketball, lawn chess, croquet, soccer, tennis, board games, pool tables, and more. And of course, you’ll have access to tons of water activities such as kayaking, windsurfing, hydrobikes, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and even scuba diving. Tweens will love Trench Town, a hang-out spot with arcade games, pool, air hockey, and more. While teens and adults will love Club Liquid. During the day, the club is all about tweens and teens, but when the evening rolls around, the champaign and premium spirits flow, and it’s all about the grownup time. Of course, couples and families will enjoy the included waterpark, as well. With tons of slides, pool areas, and more.

Beaches Turks & Caicos was the perfect getaway for my family, my kids are already asking when we are going back!

  1. Wow, these photos are all so beautiful. Looks like so much fun there. Certainly a place I’d love to take my family.

  2. This looks amazing. We have a few friends that went there a few years ago for their family trip. They had a great time.

  3. We have our second vacation to Beaches Turks and Caicos scheduled for November and we can’t wait. It was by far the best vacation we have ever taken. We have a party of 13 coming with us this time. It is very accessible also. Our daughter is in a wheelchair and we really had no problems.
