If you would have told me I’d be on a pickleball court last year I would not have believed you! The sport seems to have become popular so suddenly and is a great option to get some exercise in. My favorite part of the pickleball game is of course my outfit and that’s exactly what I’m here to chat about today! Pickleball clothing consists of breathable fabrics, court shoes, tank tops and anything that gives you the freedom of movement for a pickleball tournament. With weather conditions beginning to grow a bit colder, I’ve stepped up my dress code to include a few pieces like leggings and sweatshirts and turned in my athletic shorts. Here are my favorite pieces to create the best pickleball outfits with!

What is Pickleball?

Firstly, let’s start with the basics. If you haven’t been participating in recent athletic activities, this sport might sound funny to you. As the fastest-growing sport at the moment, the game of pickleball is all everyone is talking about these days. For those that are familiar with tennis, it’s quite similar! It basically is the combination of tennis, badminton and ping pong and is so much fun! This game can be played in either singles or doubles and instead of a racquet, you use a paddle with a plastic ball. Tennis players: it makes me feel like I’m standing on a ping pong table! It’s a low-impact active sport in the form of friendly games! The most important thing to note is that this is a family-friendly activity, so if you have been looking for something to do all together, this is the easiest way to get outside and have some fun- pickleball style!

 

My Go-To Pieces

Furthermore, let’s chat comfortable clothes with my personal style for quick movements on the pickleball court! Let’s begin with warm weather. For instance, if you are in an area that is still warm, go for fun tennis skorts, tennis skirts or a moisture wicking sports bra. Anything look that has built-in shorts is your friend! Moreover, if you need the right clothing for cold weather, stick with leggings and a sweatshirt or long sleeves. Personally, I like a matching set because they are cute and an easy way to look put together for a new sport. The right attire with necessary support is what will keep you comfortable on the court. It’s all about the right fit so you don’t need to keep adjusting anything or an apparel change in the middle of the game.
