Wellness Reads to Kick off 2026 With

The start of a new year is the perfect time to hit the reset button. Especially when it comes to self care. One of my favorite ways to refresh is by getting lost in a great book. After the holiday rush, I’ve finally found some quiet moments to dive into my reading list. It’s been such a joy. There’s something so peaceful about curling up with a book as the world slows down.

Reading has become my go-to escape from the everyday chaos of city life. It always helps me feel grounded and recharged. I truly believe that spending even a few minutes each day with a good book can do wonders for your mind and overall well-being.

Wellness

Wellness books and things like daily affirmations have been amazing for not only personal growth. But a great reminder to go easy on ourselves. Practical advice that we can use for our best health and balanced lifestyle can come in the form of must-read books. Reading is my happy place! I’m so excited to share these reads with all of you to welcome the new year!

Organization

Organization can feel overwhelming, but finding the right inspiration makes all the difference. I’ve learned that when my space is tidy, my mind feels clearer and more focused. This way, I’m able to be more creative and productive.

A good organizing book can walk you through simple, practical steps to declutter your home and your thoughts. In turn, helping you start the year with a sense of calm and control. It’s amazing how creating order in your surroundings can feel like a true mental reset. Hustle culture has been popular lately. But it’s important to learn how to slow down and find a way to keep ourselves organized.

Mental Health

Mental health awareness is essential and with that comes learning how to calm your nervous system and keep it that way. Personally, when I can do some cleaning and oranizing, that is helpful for me. I love going on a wellness journey and finding a practical tip from a unique perspective to take with me. The best version of yourself is one where lifestyle changes are fully embraced and you are at peace.

Parenting

Parenting is one of the most rewarding and challenging journeys. There’s always something new to learn. Lately, I’ve been drawn to parenting books that explore how children think, grow and process the world. They’ve helped me better understand emotions and behaviors. All while offering practical ways to nurture kindness, confidence and connection at home.

Every family is different. The best part is taking what resonates and using it to strengthen your unique bond. There are so many book lists that have great advice in this category. Sometimes it’s easier to learn from reading that listening to someone try to explain tips and tricks.

Reading for Fun

Of course, balance is key, and sometimes a fun read is exactly what’s needed. Whether it’s a cozy romance, a twisty mystery or an inspiring adventure. I love having a few lighthearted books on hand for pure enjoyment. Reading for fun is a wonderful way to unwind, spark imagination and end the day with something that simply makes you smile. With new releases and old favorites we like to re-read, there are plenty of options to choose from.
