Although the weather is telling us it’s still winter outside, I am very much in the spring zone. I refuse to wear my warm puffy winter coat anymore and have refrained from purchasing anymore long sleeves. And I will pretend they didn’t predict snow this evening. On a brighter note, we have a ton of traveling coming up in the next few months, so warm clothes and shoes are on my mind.
Searching for fun beach shoes, I came upon SOAK. A friend of mine recently introduced me to her new project. I wanted to order them immediately for our trip to California, but turns out they are currently in the middle of their kickstarter campaign and the shoes will be produced this spring!
The Soak slide is the first American-made slide sandal, ergonomically designed to provide comfort and arch support. They are not only fashionable, but water happy and are made using BPA-free PVC, a recyclable material that also classifies as vegan.
Pledgers will be able to choose one of four colors when they pledge $65 or more. Soak will start with slide sandals and will branch out over the next 5 years to include anything that… well… can get Soaked! Rain boots, umbrellas, etc…
A small donation, will make consumers to be a part of a historical moment, an opportunity to innovate and reinvigorate American Manufacturing and they will receive one of the first ever pairs of Soak sandals. Order through Soak can be pre-order Soaks for $65 and then the sandals will retail for $78. For more information and to become a partner visit their Kickstarter Program here!
