Summer vacation is here and we cannot wait to soak up some vitamin c! Fashion
Firstly, we love all things fashion. And that’s never been a secret! Last summer was brutal in terms of the heat and humidity. We’ve shared a few ways to keep cool on the blog before and a huge part of that is lightweight clothing. Linens and super lightweight 100% cotton pieces are essential to keep cool in. Dresses and skirts are pieces we reach for the most because they tend to keep us cooler. While we love denim shorts they can feel heavy and are rough when you start to sweat! On top of these items, we have found a few accessories that are about to become our favorite thing all season long. From dresses to purses and shoes, it’s safe to say we have nailed our brand new wardrobe for the changing season. The best part is that these items are all neutral so you can easily dress them up or down.

Secondly, we love to spruce up our space seasonally. Not only is it something we look forward to but it also helps us adjust to the changing seasons. With the summer comes a few fun holidays and birthdays in our house so there are tons of hosting opportunities. On our list this year was a large cooler for our pool parties, which we were able to find thankfully! But beyond this, we will also be attending fun parties and gatherings. We thought we would pull a few items that make for fantastic hostess gifts if that’s something on your list as well. While we make gift guides throughout the year for various holidays and events, we always suggest saving them for later gift ideas. These hostess gifts can double as birthday gifts for friends this summer season, too! The kids will be really excited for the ice maker we found which is great for our pool parties. Beauty
Finally, beauty is actually the most important category this season. The reason for this is because of sunscreen! While we should be wearing sunscreen all year round, it’s incredibly important that we are doing so in the summer. With harsh UV rays and tons of time spent outside, we found a few SPF options for the season. Always remember to reapply throughout the day as well! We did pull a few fun beauty options and scents for the summer to enjoy and are excited to be trying new products!
