New Yorkers are expert diners. We dine out a lot and sometimes too often. But Covid-19 has forced us all to get reacquainted with our kitchens. Hah! As much as I’ve loved trying new recipes and teaching my kids some cooking skills, I miss my local eateries. I don’t know when we’ll all be able to dine in again, but I do know takeout and delivery is getting safer by the day. We have ordered a minimal amount of times since March but each time have been such a treat. I put together some of my favorite downtown eateries for the next time you’re not feeling like your best chef self.

I love takeout. I get it all the time. From Asian to burgers, ordering in is always a win for me. I’ll have to try these places next time I’m in NYC.

All of these take out restaurants sound like they have delicious take-out food right now. If I lived in New York I’d want to try them all, especially Bubby’s.
