Next week, we are back to school, and some of the more popular questions posted to my Facebook feed from mom friends are inquiries about lunch ideas for their kids. Oddly enough, its a question I tend to ask myself on a regular basis. It’s pretty easy to get stuck in a runt making the same lunch day after day, resulting in your kids choosing not to eat! Last year, on more than 10 occasions Ryder came home with a fully stocked and untouched lunchbox.
Over the years as a parent, I’ve come up with a few lunch options that have earned the stamp of approval from my kids. It may sound crazy but food should be packaged in it’s own compartment. Fresh cut fruit pieces dripping on the bread of their sandwich will result in your kids tossing their lunch in the bin. Prep and presentation are key. Divided lunch boxes and things like tooth picks for small bites add some flare, but I like to go a step further with Ozery Breads, making creative lunches even more fun! Ozery Breads have become my kid’s favorite for lunch sandwiches, and even breakfast toast. They are the ultimate alternative to boring pita, and exciting for those youngsters who prefer their bread without crust. Without artificial flavors, colors, and preservative, these flat breads are super tasty!
Ozery Bakery is a family-owned bakery, founded on the promise to make superior quality bread from real, premium ingredients without compromise. Combining traditional methods, international influences, carefully selected ingredients and a modern sensibility, Ozery Bakery’s fresh-baked, healthy bread fuels your life in a way that simply feels good.
There’s a variety of flavors, including: Multigrain, Muesli, Apple Cinnamon, Cranberry Orange, Cinnamon & Raisin, Date and Chia, and Cranberry Orange.
Below are a few ideas for back to school lunches with Ozery Breads. The first set of ideas is for the snacker, the one that doesn’t really eat the entire sandwich, instead everything around it! Use Ozery Mini Rounds to create a fun assortment of foods.
1. Apples, cucumbers, carrots, hummus, Ozery Bakery Apple Cinnamon Mini Rounds.
2. Carrots, peaches, popcorn, turkey and cheese roll ups, Ozery Bakery Multi Grain Mini Rounds.
3. Veggie Sandwich – avocado, hummus, carrots, spinach, cucumber on Ozery Bakery Multi Grain Sandwich Buns.
4. Banana and Sun butter on Ozery Bakery Multi Grain Sandwich Bun with chia seeds and honey on top.
5. Orange slices, cheese cubes, with a Ozery Bakery Cranberry Orange Morning Round cut into quarters.
Happy back to school everyone. Would love to hear about your child’s favorite lunches! Leave your comments below!

Those mini rounds and buns are going to be useful for so many lunches! Great lunch recommendations! It’s fun to change things up now and then.
The mini rounds are a great lunchbox item! There are so many different combinations to jazz it up, lunch will never get boring!
These are great lunchbox ideas for back to school. My kids loved Sunbutter and bananas and jam.
These are some great ideas. I know that we like to use some of the school lunch ideas for our homeschool lunches.
These all look like yummy lunches and so creative. I’ll need to pass this along to my daughter although I see me liking many of them!
These are all awesome lunch box ideas for kids. I will share this with my cousin with a daughter in 2nd grade.
These are lovely ideas! I make sure to give the kids a healthy and filling lunch! I love how you arranged them in the lunchboxes. I am definitely taking notes here!
The Sunbutter, banana, and honey mini sandwiches look absolutely lovely. I’ve found that with my kid cousins, naturally-sweet and soft-textured fruits seem to make for an easier way to get them eating healthy.
Healthy and packed, that’s definitely the kind of lunch that the kids need to be energized throughout the day. I think those are wonderful lunch ideas for the kids.
I have one of those snackers in my group of kids. That’s actually a great idea!
I’ve never heard of this brand. However, I am ALWAYS looking for healthier options like this for the kids.
I love making lunch special like this for my girl. Instead of forcing them to deal with the options, letting them choose and working with the type of personality they have is much more viable.
Love that the buns aren’t crazy bready so the kids can fill them full of their favorites. My kids’ school is peanut free so I struggle with finding a variety of options for the kids.
Great lunch ideas! I want to try some of these out. Thanks for the inspiration!
