We’ve all seen 1000’s of TV commercials over the years, so I was super excited when the kids and I were asked to star in a spot for Manhattan Mini Storage #MiniStories series! The fit was only natural, considering we’ve had a storage unit with Manhattan Mini for just over a year now. I mean, if you live in a small New York City apartment like we do, a storage unit is a MUST. I no longer stuff things into closets just to avoid the clutter. Our storage is stocked to the hilt, with everything from seasonal clothing to old toys, some of which I know I want my kids to pass on to their children.
Lights, Camera, Storage!

Manhattan Mini Storage is a self-storage facility with 17 locations all around Manhattan, spanning from the South Street Seaport to Inwood, with plenty in between. They are a storage solution for nearly 400,000 New Yorkers for space as small as closets, or larger for business needs.
Every location is card access controlled, well-lit, cleaned regularly and continually monitored. Plus, they are open 365 days a year, and several locations are even open 24 hours a day for your maximum convenience. This anytime access was a huge perk for us, considering we typically plan trips last minute. It’s nice knowing we can access our suitcases or skis at a moments notice. I can honestly say I visit my storage unit at least every other week.
Back to the commercial! The kids and I filmed in a Manhattan Mini Storage facility back in September. The concept was just hilarious, leaving us in stitches on set, even when the cameras weren’t rolling! In the commercial, we play a real NYC family, who’s belongings grew as quickly as our family. Sitting on the couch and talking to camera in our storage unit, we are surrounded by a real circus act consisting of juggler and a ring leader! The spot is hysterical, and I dare you to watch it and not laugh!
Honestly, if it weren’t for Manhattan Mini Storage, our family wouldn’t be able to stay in the same apartment. They’ve made our place livable again! Be on the lookout for our commercial airing on Youtube, Facebook, and most of Spectrum cable channels! Loved my little actors in this fun project!
