Gearing Up For Summer

This is a sponsored post. Thank you for supporting SITC.

I cannot believe that Memorial Day is just a week away, and summer is right behind it. It seems like yesterday that we were counting the days to summer break for last school year! Summer is definitely my most favorite season, with countless spent days on the beach, playing in the sand and ocean. Its our family’s happy place. Gemma and I even had a taste of it last week when temps reached 90 degrees!

This summer we have plenty of trips planned, and I am signing the bigs up for a week of surf camp too, which has resulted in my stocking up on fun bathing suits for the kids! With how active my kids (and most kids!) are, we can never have enough bathing suits. Sometimes we go through two per day if we are back and forth to the beach or pool. During my summer prep, I found that Lands’ End had an awesome selection of swim suits this season for the kids with some cool options for Jason and I too!

The Lands’ End swimwear collection has styles for everyone available in bright, vibrant colors and prints. My favorite feature about their suits for kids is that they offer UPF 50 sun protection, blocking 98% of UV rays! And in honor of National Swimsuit Day (which is today),Lands’ End is offering 50% off swimsuits for the entire family, plus upgraded free shipping, so you can receive your suits in time for Memorial Day weekend!

Some of my favorite styles for the girls were the one shoulder suits in a pineapple print, two piece ruffle bikini in a tropical print, tankini halter in a colorful sunglass print, and multiple rash guards in fun prints. For Ryder, he is all about the swim trunk with a matching rash guard, so I picked out several options, including an orange and blue stripe and a fun printed shark camo!

There were so many styles to choose from for myself, so I decided to mix it up a little, buying a few one pieces, some tankinis, and a two piece, that I paired with a stripped cropped rash guard over it! And for years, all of Jason’s swimwear has been from Lands’ End, so he stocked up on his favorite style, the Volley Swim Trunks, in a sapphire floral and dark charcoal print.

If this didn’t get you in summer mode yet, Lands’ End is hosting a Best On The Beach Sweepstakes. Participants will have a chance to win an 8-day, 7-night stay for two, to the British Virgin Islands, Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina. It’s your own pristine private island retreat, valued at $6,600, including, complimentary dining for two, a spa credit and Flexboat rental. Go to landsend.com for details on how to enter!

And be sure to head over to the Lands’ End Twitter account today between 1pm-7pm EST to win fun prizes! I will be hosting 4-5pm today! Here’s to counting the days until summer!

I think your bathing suit choices are really cute! I love suits that protect from the sun and are more on the modest side.

My grandkids would need new swimwear this year. They grew so much over the past few months and now they don’t fit in their swimwear anymore. Thanks for letting me know about Land’s End.

  7. I love that there are plenty of choices for swimsuits for the kids and adults. Time definitely flew, I also cannot believe that we’re about to welcome June and celebrate Memorial Day.
