Best Views in NYC and Much More

I can tell you as a born and raised New Yorker, that the views of the skyline in NYC seriously never, ever, get old. Actually it just keeps getting better and better as more buildings are embracing the need to actually experience them! The newest, and probably best experiences to check out views of my city await at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt. Located at the top of One Vanderbilt in Midtown, SUMMIT is a total experience combining breathtaking views and a spectacular art experience, and I can honestly say SUMMIT is an experience like no other.
Whether you’re a local or a visitor SUMMIT offers an experience that you won’t soon forget. Combining three distinct elements into one amazing experience the best views in NYC are only the beginning when you make your way to SUMMIT. This immersive experience takes advantage of One Vanderbilt’s Midtown location, height, and views to add one more incredible entry on to the list of amazing sites that makes New York City the culture capital of the world.

Let’s begin by talking about the views since so many will be amazed by them. See Manhatten in an entirely different way at SUMMIT’s Leviation, an observation deck experience like no other. These glass boxes jut out from the building, offer views from every angle, including underfoot! It’s the most unique way to experience views of the city. Take in panoramic vistas of the city, the hustle and bustle of life below, and everything in between as you seemingly hover over it all. I was actually sitting higher than the Empire State Building, its truly insane.

With Ascent, you’ll go even higher. If you thought the best views in NYC were experienced at Levitation, then you’ll be astounded by Ascent. Step into an all-glass exterior elevator and continue your journey upward to the very top of One Vanderbilt’s heights, experiencing views that dwarf anything you’ll ever experience in the Big Apple. It’s a sight to behold and an experience not to be missed.

Speaking of experiences, we can’t forget Air, an art installation that incorporates the views of the city, mind-bending mirror work, and interactive elements that take art to entirely new heights. Brought to life by Kenzo Digital, an artist specializing in powerful stories in physical space, Air literally makes SUMMIT its own canvas.

Finally, you’ll enjoy the best views in NYC while dining in one of New York’s most unique atmospheres at Apres. This dining experience is brought to you by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Events and combines global flavors with NYC influences to create a culinary experience exclusive to SUMMIT and like nothing else in the entire city.

Whether you want panoramic views, art that takes your mind to new places, amazing dining, or all of it, SUMMIT offers a complete experience that is like nothing else in the city. It’s a feast for the senses that will leave you breathless and create memories that last a lifetime. Tickets are available now and doors open October 21st!

  1. Wow, gorgeous skyline indeed! I have seen many friends post on Facebook with pictures of them sitting like you on that glass floor. I would love to visit NYC someday!!

  2. Yep, NYC is home sweet home! When I travel and I am returning home by plane as soon as I see the skyline I feel like I can breathe again. And that’s the best perspective to watch the snowfall as well, it’s like a blanket of peace and quiet envelops the city!

  3. It’s so high up. I went on the glass floor in Chicago, so I think I would probably be OK here too. Definitely something worth considering the next time we had to NYC

  4. It would be lovely to visit NYC! The view is lovely and awesome. I am scared of heights though, I wish I can do that.
