We’ve shared our ultimate beach gear post a couple weeks back! We decided to make a post with more affordable options that are products we absolutely love and stand by. From a beach bag to a beach umbrella and water bottles, we have thought of everything. Our goal is always to have the best beach day and we need beach essentials to help with that sometimes. The most important thing is that you can carry it all so feel free to pick and choose which items are essential to you! We hope to inspire relaxing days on the beach with our affordable essential gear for the whole family.
Sun Protection
Firstly, ample shade is no joke. I can’t even tell you how many times we have been to the beach and needed an umbrella and didn’t bring one because it was a hassle. Keeping out of the harsh rays for extended periods of time is way more important than letting sun damage happen. We found this umbrella by Anchor Works on Amazon that is not only easy to dig into the sand but it has cup holders! Loving pastels for summertime and with a few color options we are obsessed to say the least! I’m all about ease of transportation of gear to the beach, especially with hot sand to worry about. And this is no problem!
Fun Favorites
Secondly, we have to have some stuff for the kiddies! My kids are teenagers now but I remember when they were little, making sandcastles was everything to them. We would spend a long day at the beach with bluetooth speakers and a cozy beach blanket watching them dig in the sand. I love that you can find sand toys in packages all together now at a good price. We used to have to get everything separately. Beach toys can make or break your beach day if you have little ones. We have to keep them entertained and with toys that they will really like. Anything they can put water or sand in on your beach vacation is typically a win! The best way to have a great day is to keep the kids happy and having the best time. Don’t forget snacks though! We found the most adorable pouches to keep snacks, sunscreen and other essentials in. They are an impressive dupe for pricier pouches and honestly look the same! They get the job done and keep you in style on the beach.
Keeping Cool
Finally, it’s time to chat keeping cool. And with this comes a lot of things. Firstly, ice packs. These are for food in your coolers, I have seen people bring coolers without ice or ice packs and while that works for some things. It won’t work for keeping beverages cool! With this comes a really great insulated water bottle. Hydration is key to a great beach day but also not feeling sick after being in the sun for so long. I know how easy it can be to forget water but a fun water bottle can help with that! Finally, a fan is another staple we need. We found tons of mini fans on amazon and landed on one that has bendy legs (made for a stroller). I figured I could actually attach this to my beach chair and make it hands free this way!
