As I scroll through my Instagram and Facebook feed I’m seeing so many of my friends’ kids have their last days of school this week. Unfortunately for us New Yorkers, my kids go till the end of June. But that doesn’t mean that I do not have summer vacation on my mind. I’m trying to plan out our summer with camps and trips, and wanted to list a few of our favs through the years in case you are looking for any ideas! Would love to hear about your favorite place to vacation in the comments below!
Beaches Turks & Caicos is great for the entire family. With a 45,000 square foot waterpark, there’s something for every kid to enjoy! There are five villages with inspired architecture and ambiance of Italy, France, The Caribbean and Key west! If you can stay in the Key West part, do it! It’s dreamy! The 12-mile beach surrounded by the clear water makes it enjoyable for everyone and the beach even features Sesame Street characters and an Xbox Play Lounge with a teen disco!
2. Miami Beach: Eden Roc Hotel
Miami hosts many great beaches, but the Eden Roc Miami beach is super family friendly. Eden Roc includes a variety of meal options from pool-side casual and in-room dining to fine dining. Eden Roc is home to the Esencia Wellness spa where you can enjoy a couples massage, facial, manicure, and more. The resort is pet-friendly, has options of a scavenger hunt for kids, bike rental options, fooseball, volleyball, ping pong, and more game options for the entire family to enjoy!
3. Bahamas
The Bahamas has a large variety of family friendly options, whether you take a family cruise there or stay on the island! There are so many exploration options from hiking and sight seeing to swimming amongst the most beautiful beaches. There are many water sports, boat and jet ski rentals, and marine life activities fun and safe for everyone in the fam. The girls and I are headed there end of June, and we cannot wait!
I was beyond impressed when I heard about all the things Seadust Cancun offered for kiddies. Based on how the property is situated, you are off the beaten path, so if you are on a kid-free trip, children’s activities aren’t right in your face. The Treasure Island water park gives children the excitement they crave, with water slides, a pirate ship, water games, and much more. The children’s club is for guests aged 5 to 12 and baby club for 18 months to four years old and includes activities such as treasure hunts, water games, painting, cooking, sports, movies, and more. There’s even a teen room with ping-pong, darts, board games, and Xbox video games for youngsters to enjoy hours of unlimited fun, capped off with a night time dance party with music, lights, activities, and contests. At different areas amongst the ground, you will find zip lining, a rock climbing wall, and mini golf! My kids would flip over all this vacation destination!
5. California
If it were up to Jason, our family would probably be living in California at this point. From Palm Springs to Los Angeles to San Diego, there’s so much to see and do! Check out Global Munckins amazing list of family friendly San Diego musts. Jolla Cove is a super family friendly hotel with amenities accommodating to everyone in the fam! La Jolla Cove is located on the beach with roof top access for gorgeous views! There is a year-round heated pool and jacuzzi, direct access to the La Jolla Cove and La Jolla Village, and health club passes to classes such as yoga, spin, and more! And nothing beats the West Coast beach!

These are great picks. We’ve been to the Bahamas and Cancun already, and we love California.
These are some awesome picks. You can’t go wrong with the Bahamas and Cancun. California has a lot of places to offer
The Bahamas looks like the place to be! Look at that beach and the amazing sea views to wake up to from those balconies. Where do I sign up! I am ready now!
My husband and I just went to Italy for our 5 year anniversary. It was amazing, but we probably won’t be doing anything else this year. I have to say I’m a little jealous after looking at all those beaches though!
Miami Beach: Eden Roc Hotel looks like a paradise for me! I wish I can visit it soon. Great photos!
I’m down for any of these places! They are sound perfect and wonderful!!! Just ready to vacation!
I would love to visit Miami Beach of all the destinations that are listed here and then probably Cancun. You give so many great reasons for visiting them all.
I have been to 4 out of 5 places. The best for me is Bahamas but I was there only for one day.
That looks like it would be a really cool trip. I would love to go sometime.
That is a great travel list. I hope I get time for it this summer!
