25th Annual Bunny Hop

Last Tuesday, I was honored to attend the 25th Annual Bunny Hop, hosted by the Associates Committee of The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering. For our third straight year, this event has become one of the most highly anticipated family event of the year, and I was thrilled to be there supporting such a wonderful cause with my whole family. Sponsored by Bonpoint, the sold-out event welcomed a high-profile crowd of The Society’s members and New York families.

Guests sported their springtime best, while enjoying a variety of acts and activities, including a live animal show, petting zoo (my kids’ fav), Bonpoint photo booths, a DJ, magicians and balloon artists. Through a long-standing partnership between The Society and The Big Apple Circus, children were entertained by the “Doctors of Humorology” from Clown CareSM, The Big Apple Circus’ Community Outreach Program, and three acts from the Big Apple Circus, the Hula Hoop Master and Zuma Zuma, the African Acrobatic Troupe, and more.

The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering is a volunteer-led organization within MSK dedicated to promoting the well-being of patients, supporting cancer research, and providing public education on the early prevention, detection, and treatment of cancer. As the world’s oldest and largest private cancer center, MSK has devoted more than a century to advancing the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Having family and friends having gone there for treatment, I know first hand that their patients are offered the very best care.

The Bunny Hop raised over $315,000 to benefit the Department of Pediatrics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, but if you are interested in adding to that total, please visit www.thesocietyofmskcc.org to donate.
