Spring is Calling

Spring is almost here, and the only thing better than sunshine is the fashion! I’m seeing a lot of spring fashion hitting the racks and sites, as well as during Fashion Week here! You know I love a colorful outfit, it makes me feel so happy and full of good energy. And as always, there are trends that run the season, and I’m here to give you all the details on them!

Crayon Colors

When I say crayon colors, I mean all of them, but primarily the tropical ones. The oranges, teals and magentas, especially. I feel like spring is normally a colorful time, but now more than ever, it’s brighter. Likewise, neon is just bright and fun. I love a pop of color in accessories, specifically. Moreover, a bright pink bag? Yes please!

Cutout Details

Cutout details in apparel have been in for quite awhile now, but if you aren’t comfortable with it, you can always go for the more subtle ones! Additionally, this is a great way to add dimension to an outfit and dress up what might normally be a basic item.

90’s Jeans

Jeans are getting looser and looser, but that’s not a bad thing! Relaxed and 90’s fits are back in style and they definitely are a more comfortable option. Especially as the weather gets warmer, I think it’s easier to lean towards jeans that have more room in them, rather than sweating in the tighter ones. Besides, Gen Z on TikTok said skinny jeans aren’t in, so maybe we see what the hype is all about?

Florals

Firstly, you know me, I love my florals! Especially the vintage look, I think it is absolutely classic and there truly is nothing like it. Secondly, vintage florals will never go out of style. This is primarily going to be dresses, skirts and tops, although we are seeing floral stitching and fabric on bags, which is a really cool way to step up an outfit.

Babydoll Fit

Finally, I think the babydoll fit is adorable. Sometimes, it’s difficult to be flattering, but for the most part, the safest apparel item in this style is a shirt. With dresses, they might lay a bit weird, but if you can find one you love, hold onto it! This style comes back every few years and it is so worth!

  1. I love all these spring inspirations and how they look on you. I can’t wait to pull out a fun colourful purse from my collection or my overalls for that 90s jean vibe.
