H&M: All For Children {& GIVEAWAY}

I have been a huge fan of H&M childrenswear since Ryder was born. Five years ago, it was the only shop offering items that weren’t “baby blue”. I have always felt and still do that H&M offers some of the coolest threads for kids and at really affordable pricing. Most of my kids wardrobe consists of H&M staple pieces; right down to the coolest metallic high top sneaks. H&M has recently launched its ongoing 2013 collection All for Children. The collection offers costumes for your little ones to trick-or-treat in style! Most importantly, H&M launched the All for Children initiative with UNICEF back in 2009 with a $4.5 million donation to help children in some of the world’s poorest communities.  25% of all retail sales from this autumn’s global All for Children collection will be donated to UNICEF to help children in need.

Halloween is the perfect time of year to play dress up. This collection is inspired by an 18th century masquerade ball. Ryder and Siella had so much fun with this photo shoot, as did I. With this collection, children will find excuses to play dress up all year long, especially with a mermaid crown with seashells and starfish accents, or a bag shaped like Marie Antoinette’s pug! Siella’s charcoal tutu and top is decorated with fun and colorful sparkle-fetti. For the little guys, a sea captain’s coat, or a tattoo top and pant if he prefers to be a pirate. There’s a batwing cape, a skeleton-printed jumpsuit, and black and white stripes too, in a horizontal-striped top and vertical-striped jacket and pants.

Matching accessories include a bat eye mask, pirate boots and a captain’s hat complete with a parrot. And how fun is this cut-out pumpkin mask, Ryder hasn’t stopped playing with it since!

The H&M All For Children collection is available in stores now as well as H&M website. By donating 25% of all retail sales from this autumn’s global All for Children collection, H&M will help UNICEF provide 40,000 children living in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with improved access to education and protection of their basic rights including prevention of child labor. The H&M All For Children collection is a fun line for kids with a do-good purpose!
