This week I had the honor of being interviewed by Mestiza New York! I gave them the lowdown on how my family and I have adapted daily to quarantine life and distanced learning, the playful influence of my children on my traditionally romantic and feminine style, and the Mestiza gowns that embody this authentic, youthful sophistication. Tell us about yourself!
Once a fashion showroom owner turned mom and blogger/writer. I live in New York City with my husband, our three children and our puppy Cooper. My blog Stroller In The City boasts about city living, family travel, fashion and all things mommy.
Can you share a little about your role as the co-host of Moms Like Us?
On a weekly basis I co-host a YouTube segment for US Weekly titled Mom’s Like Us. We discuss all things celebrity mom news. Whether it’s the latest celebrity baby birth or social media share, we discuss the latest motherhood news.
How would you describe your personal style?
My personal style is very feminine. I can often be found wearing a dress, a floral print, and/or a headband. I like wearing things that express romance and femininity.
How has motherhood affected your personal style?
Motherhood has definitely affected my personal style. Having children has reminded me to have fun with fashion. My children inspire me to embrace my true self! Whether it’s playing with fun prints, colors, or layers, I find myself a lot more free with my fashion choices since becoming a mother.
Do you have any tips and tricks for moms involved with distance learning?
Distance learning is incredibly difficult for both parents and children alike! 2020 has been challenging for everyone and has given all parents a new perspective on our everyday routines. My only advice would be to do your best to keep a family schedule. Giving our children structure during this difficult time, allows for a bit of security while we all adapt daily.
What draws you to the Mestiza brand?

What are some of your favorite Mestiza pieces?
Some of my favorite Mestiza pieces are the Georgiana Gown, Puff Puff Midi, and the Pericon Midi. All these gowns are absolutely gorgeous and I know would make any woman feel beautiful.
