Last week, I took Ryder to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. At first, I wasn’t sure that there would be much to do with a 20 month old (I knew he wasn’t going to be into smelling flowers). Much to my surprise, its tons of fun for kids! Just pack lunch and bring a blanket and you can make a whole day out of it. If you can make this week, you will be fortunate to experience the beautiful Cherry Blossoms in full bloom. Make sure to stroll by the koi pond, which is home to fish, turtles and ducks. And don’t forget to stop by the activity area for kids where kids can dig for worms and learn about gardening. It is a truly magical place! Go to www.bbg.org to check their summer classes and workshops!
