The topic of fertility is near and dear to my heart. After conceiving Ryder, our first child, fairly easily, we were ready to continue to grow our family. With no immediate success, I expressed my concern to a few doctors saying, “hey, I think there’s something wrong here,” and was initially dismissed. We were blindsided with secondary infertility, something more common than we thought. Two years later, Siella was conceived through IVF, which gave us more of an understanding of how complex our fertility health really is.

Due to the stigma around fertility discussions, we were initially uninformed about our fertility health - which is why I strongly agree with CCRM Fertility’s mission to shatter this view and encourage everyone to have more open conversations about their fertility. At the forefront of research and science, while debunking the myths and stigmas around the fertility conversation, CCRM Fertility recently conducted a survey of New York residents which revealed that the majority (76%) of New Yorkers believe fertility health should be discussed more openly. The survey also found that most residents are misinformed about their fertility health, with approximately 61% admitting to feeling “uninformed,” “clueless” or only “somewhat knowledgeable” about their fertility health.

I’m finally getting back into my morning yoga exercise routine and it’s important to me that nothing slows me down. I’ll be the first to admit I always put self care for myself on the back burner, so if I’m having neck pain that day I use that as an excuse not to workout. But I recently discovered @blueemu1 Hemp Ultra Pain Relief cream, which has been doing wonders for my neck pain!
