Festive Flavors

I’ve partnered with Frito Lay in this sponsored campaign but all of the party & snacking tips are our own. Thank you for supporting SITC.

I just love everything about this time of year. The streets of NYC are adorned with decorative lights, sidewalks are lined with fresh pine trees, stores are overflowing with festive decor, and everyone is in a cheerful mood. While I thrive on the children’s excitement over these coveted weeks, the obligations and fast pace tends to be daunting. We have family celebrations, parties with friends, school happenings, and work events, all before Christmas finally arrives in two short weeks.

Ryder and Siella both have school parties, and naturally, I signed up to provide some sweet treats. Typically, I bake my family recipe of chocolate chip cookies, but this year, I think I am going to take it easy by keeping the baking to a minimum. While shopping at Walgreens, I found these festive sweets that could be wrapped individually for the classroom parties. I especially love these ROLD GOLD Holiday Classic Dipped Pretzels and ROLD GOLD Peppermint Dipped Pretzels. The kids love any type of crafting, and adding their own special touch, so after putting them in festive tins and little boxes, they cannot wait to hand them out to their friends. We are even planning to make extra holiday boxes, so they can be handed out our church party next weekend.

I’m tying to not let all the busy work over these weeks get the best of me, so any short cuts that can lend me a helping had are welcome. These #FestiveFlavors by Frito Lay make the perfect snacks for all of our holiday parties. After all, I want to be able to take it all in and enjoy the fun anticipation we’ve waited all year for.
