Wrinkle Free Back To School

It seems like summer just started and look July is almost over, which means August will fly by and the kids are back to school again. Summer is a free-spirited, go-with-the-flow season for us, so I try not to stress the little things. The kids usually dress themselves in whatever they like, are mismatched, hair undone, as I just pretend that my family is cultivating a messy beach-bum vibe.

But, September is going to be here before we know it, and I want my kids to look crisp and wrinkle-free for school. I’ve made my feelings about laundry and all the jazz that goes along with it pretty clear over the years; it isn’t my favorite chore. And with a family of five it certainly piles up fast so I try to stay on top of it, but sometimes I don’t have the energy to fold warm clothes directly from the dryer or hang things up right away and they get a little wrinkled. I used to spend what felt like hours ironing all of their clothes. Especially during the first few weeks of school when we’re all still in vacation mode, it’s the last thing I want to do.

I’ve decided that I am eliminating ironing altogether. In fact, I threw out the ironing board and stored the iron somewhere in the depths of our linen closet. Jason practically tore the house apart last week looking for it to iron a shirt. Then I let him in on my secret; Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus. It has changed everything. Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus has a unique formula that releases wrinkles without making your clothes feel stiff. Simply spray, tug, smooth and hang, and the wrinkles are gone. And don’t worry the formula will not fade or damage your clothes.

Getting out the wrinkles isn’t the only use for Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus. It eliminates odors, refreshes fabrics and if you simply must iron, you can spray first then iron for a real finished look. I’ve used it on curtains, sheets, pillowcases… AND it is perfect for travel! Especially when you’re living out of a suitcase for a week – who has time to iron?

Getting my kids back on a school schedule is going to be a bit of a challenge but at least now I will just spritz their wrinkly clothes, and we can have more time in the morning to connect with each other and start the day off calm and focused. To help parents have a smooth back-to-school transition there are Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus coupons and special offers available on the Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus website. 1. I used to spend so much time ironing too — now I don’t even own an ironing board anymore 🙂 I think once my girls grew up the cotton dress-age, I got lazy ironing other clothes either. And love the spray-bottle trick for “ironing”!
