The Ski Utah Passport Program

This is a sponsored post. Thank you for supporting SITC.

It’s no secret that I am obsessed with warm weather and the beach, but since my kids have started skiing and snowboarding, I finally look forward to the cold weather. No more weekends locked indoors, and now I love this season. Each year our number of days on the slopes has gradually increased because it’s so cool to watch the kids progress after a few lessons and hard work. After all skiing and snowboarding are lifelong sports, and something kids will look forward to sharing with parents as they grow older.  That’s why I’m excited about the Ski Utah Passport program for 5th and 6th graders

Last March, Jason and I took the kids to Park City, Utah. Park City. That trip brought back a ton of memories for Jason and me, as it was one of our first vacations together over thirteen years ago, well before we were married. In 2005, we were there during the Sundance Film Festival, and I remember being overwhelmed by the charm of the sweet little town; so it was an easy choice for a trip with our little snow bunnies. Nothing quite compares to West Coast skiing- lots of white powdery snow and all those bluebird sunny days on the hills.

This season, Ski Utah is making it easier with their passport program. The Ski Utah Passport Program offers 5th graders the opportunity to ski 3 times at each Utah resort (14 total resorts), and 6th graders ski one time at each Utah resort for only $35!  If you have ever taken your kids skiing, you know that is a HUGE savings. The Ski Utah Passport also includes additional deals and discounts from their resorts and partners, including discounted buddy passes, deals on gear rentals and summer activities, at select Utah resorts.

Ryder will be in fifth grade just next year, so I guess we have some trips to Utah in our future! The Ski Utah Passport really makes it easy for families to embrace their love of skiing!

  1. Now that is a good deal. I know how expensive scheme can be in something like this will definitely help cut down on the cost. I have not skied in years it would be so much fun to do it with my kiddo.

  2. This is such a great idea to off-set the cost of travel or multiple children when visiting Utah for skiing! We love Park City!

  3. That looks like so much fun. I haven’t been skiing in so many years. I’d love to bring my girls so they can start too.

  4. I have not been skiing in a long time. This looks like such a great place and having a pass to places like this always makes things easier.

  5. That looks like such a fun time for the kids and you both! It is always nice when your kids find a hobby they enjoy and you can do it affordably. We live in NY and our kids never got into the skiing like I thought they might. I am happy that you have a new winter pastime to enjoy together.

  6. I haven’t been skiing in ages. This passport program is a great way to get youngsters interested in skiing without breaking the bank.

Park City seems like a whole lifetime away- but I miss skiing. I really need to look into this with the family!
