The Christmas Cycle

This is a sponsored post. Thank you for supporting SITC.

As the years progress, the kids have really grown to love biking. We are fortunate to live along the water with an awesome bike path, so rides up and down the West Side highway fill our weekends, especially during the summer months. Jason and I have even been biking as our means of transportation lately.

Ryder has been off training wheel for years, and Siella taught herself how to ride this past summer. Hopefully, this summer, Gemma will get there. Bikes were a huge part of my childhood, so it’s so nice to see my kids enjoying to ride just as much as I did!

Each of the kids have already gone through a few bikes, and Dynacraft bicycles has made up the majority of their rides. As the largest privately held distributor of bicycles, scooters and battery-powered ride-ons in the United States, Dynacraft offers a large assortment of kids’ bikes, featuring some of their favorite characters and themes, with plenty of colors and styles.

When you were growing up, what kid didn’t use a styrofoam cup on the back frame of their bike to make a motor sound. Well, finally the bike companies got hip to this age old trick, and Dynacraft made the Hot Wheels Boys’ Bike with Turbospoke, which looks and sounds like a real motorbike. It features authentic Hot Wheels graphics and silver accents, with a high gloss finish. The steel BMX frame is built to last, and the all-terrain tires can handle city street, or romps in the park. We are surprising our six year old cousin with one this Christmas. I can’t wait to see his face!

Ryder helped assemble the bike, so I had to let him take it for a test spin, to test the “motor” out. It sounded pretty cool, and he probably rode his cousin’s gift a little too long- but I won’t tell if you won’t!

  1. That’s so cool! I remember when we were kids, kids who had bikes would clip a card to their frame so it would hit the spokes!

  2. That’s such a fun gift for the kids this Christmas and I’m sure they’ll be excited about the design and how it all works as well with the sound of the motor and all!

  3. My son would love this hot wheels bike! We always biked everywhere when I was a kid, and it is so cool to see my own kiddo riding his own bike. He just outgrew his training wheels so he is so excited. We might need to get him a bike like this! He would be in love with this!

  4. What a cool bike! Love the colors. I know a certain someone that would absolutely LOVE to get this bike for Christmas this year!

  5. Bikes and Christmas go hand in hand! I remember the year Santa brought me a new bike! I was so excited to learn how to ride it!

  6. My son has had two noise things for his bikes to try and replicate motor sound, lol. I think boys put baseball cards on their spokes when I was a kid. I barely remember! That is a nice bike.
