Tea Time with Babar

My children and I got invited to a very special afternoon treat last week at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée. The Plaza Athénée is continuing to celebrate 80th birthday of the world-famous elephant Babar. Babar the Elephant is a fictional character who first appeared in the French children’s book Histoire de Babar by Jean de Brunhoff in 1931 and has been enjoyed by children all over the world since. I remember reading the books when I was a child, and now Ryder has taken a liking to Babar’s adventures as well.

To celebrate, Hôtel Plaza Athénée will be hosting “Tea Time with Babar” event every Saturday from now till December 28. The festive fetes includes an afternoon full of fun and holiday cheer, complete with a yummy children’s menu, special “tea” for the kiddies and sweet treats. Children will be able to meet with Babar as well as take pictures next to a one-of-a-kind themed Christmas tree featuring more than one hundred Babar plush toys. Ryder and Siella were so excited to meet Babar, and for the first time Siella actually wasn’t scared of a character. Their favorite part, being able to drink their special tea out of big kid cups. It was such a lovely afternoon for the kids and I totally recommend this fun activity to do with the kiddie especially during this holiday time.

  2. You may also make use of a higher limit than everyone
normally would on an distinctive card. As every other laser based bit of machinery or equipment, laser scanning equipment will invariably have a downside regarding reading shinny
or reflective surfaces as well as this matter, if used by using an assembly or production line it
better fulfills its job prior to products or parts are
painted or coated. The problem with incandescent bulbs
is always that 98% from the energy they use is lost in heat,
this will make it immensely inefficient in terms of energy use; this is in line with the common method
that electricity is passed through a resistive wire
which then causes it to heat and glow, enough resistance within the wire filament
    and you get light.
