Sweat Sesh With Crunch Fitness

I have to admit, my self care routine has completely fallen by the wayside over the past few months. Finding the time to take for myself has been a struggle, amongst the many other things juggled on a daily basis. I certainly feel much better when I workout. When I finally peel off some workout time, my head seems clearer, and then I try to fit more workouts in my schedule. As a little kick start for myself, SITC just hosted a fitness event with Crunch Fitness and it was just what I needed.

For the event, we invited our favorite NYC influencers, to take not one, but two classes with us. The first sesh was BODYSHRED, a class created by Jillian Michaels, which is high intensity and endurance based 30 minute workout, utilizing Jillian’s 3-2-1 interval approach of strength, cardio, and abs. And as if this class wasn’t enough (and it practically had us all on the floor), we toughed it out for another 20 minutes of Ass n Abs session. To say I was sore the next morning is a complete understatement.

Following our sweat session, Crunch provided some delicious green smoothies, made by Just Salad, one of our sponsors for the event!

Crunch’s newest location on 66th Street and 3rd Avenue is squeaky-clean like all of their clubs and they keep members coming back for more with plenty of innovative classes offered daily. Gym goers who find it hard to make it to the gym may be able to appreciate Crunch’s manifest0, which reads…

Huge thank you to our event sponsors which included Living Proof Dry Shampoo, Bliss Spa, Ounce Water, KIND bars, Purity Organic Juice, Boom Boom Brow Bar, Enlightened Snacks, and of course, Crunch Fitness, which offered all participants a one month membership to any location, as well as a super cool tote!

I honestly feel so empowered and reinvigorated, so I am finally psyched to get back in the gym. I’ve juggled my schedule, and plan to squeeze in at least three workouts to my busy week. Here’s to some strong mamas!

  3. This looks like a great place to work out. I have been looking for somewhere new to go that has classes like this.

  4. This sounds like a great workout. Over the holidays I found myself so busy and couldn’t always make it to the gym. I’m slowly getting back into the habit of going more often. I always feel better after a workout.

  5. this class was AMAZING! and a fantastic way for my teen and I to bond- and for me to prove to her that exercise with her mama could be fun! I can’t wait to go back and take more classes!
