Sunday Style: Triple F.A.T. Goose

NYC winters are no joke, especially over the last couple of years with negative wind chills, and an ice chunk ridden Hudson River. Just because it’s winter time, we can’t stop our normal routines of walking to and from activities, so we do our best to keep warm. With Ryder sprouting up over the summer, his jacket from last season no longer fits, so in preparation for the upcoming cold months, I came across this Triple F.A.T. Goose jacket that I knew would be perfect.

Having known their brand for years catering to men and women, I was psyched to see their new line of children’s outerwear, exclusively designed for frigid temps. Triple F.A.T. Goose (F.A.T – For Arctic Temperatures) stays true to their bold and uniquely recognizable styles, and its notable durability. The fabrics are water repellent, made from 10,000 mm fabrics, featuring real coyote fur, side vents, storm cuffs and goose down filling.

The styles range from long to short in length, with basic color shades of black, grey, navy, and red, for both boys and girls. For Ryder, I chose the Ovstyn style which is more tailored for the urban adventurer. It combines a unique blend of modern function, yet has a retro style. The durable ribbed waist and cuff details provide added comfort, along with protection from wind chills. And the oversized hood with fur trim is sure to keep him warm and toasty.

I feel comfortable knowing he will be uber warm with his new jacket during the many many outdoor activities we have planned this winter!
